Hard time

We didnt get the loan we where hoping for and with that down the drain the hope of buing that house goes the same way.
The good news though is that when we do get a loan we have 10% to make downpayment easilly from the 401k, I just checked it and it was more then I thought.
So..  salary is way enough to pay mortage plus other expenses every month..  down payment is secured.. only the credit score is in our way now.

What does it mean?

Yesterday we went to have another look at the house, so far we have not asked to see the inside as we still have not gotten the loan approved.  But when we came over a car was parked outside and our hopes where sinking.  We still went out of the car and walked up to the house. The man stepped out of the car and introduced himself as a realtor waiting for his client. Next year asks if we want to come in and see the inside! Oh boy YESS!!  Did we ever!
We looked through and just as we expected there is lots and lots of things needed to be done, but we still love it. As we where looking our new friend got a phone call. Turns out he was waiting at the wrong house!!  Now tell me it is not just coincidence.. but that we are meant to have that house!

We contacted the seller and a lender... keep your fingers and toes crossed for us please.  They are going to work with us.

At the lake

How I miss the ocean from my summers in my home country.  It is one of the hardest things to be far away from except the family of course.

I Love my little balcony, but how much nicer would it not be if we could be out here all at the same time?

The house we are looking at (because we are suckers for punishment, or just refusing to give up on our dream,  or both) is so close to a huge lake that you just have to walk about fifty steps to see it (the view from there is amazing).  Its back yard is mainly grass and plenty of room to make it lustrious, a nice shed (hubby is aching to start the building) and trees and bushes that will give fruit for years to come.  A hot tub is a must, but a small one that will be built into a construction that enhance the garden rather then intrude on it.

See?  We are maybe dreamers,  but we don't dream about, getting things for nothing, we are strong yet and not streaks to work for our dreams.
